COVID-19 April 17, 2020

Keepin' it short and sweet today.  Data from yesterday is plotted in the figures below.  I'm using only a linear scale today.  The Gompertz model continues to do a good job of representing the data.  The ups and downs of new cases and daily deaths continue their fairly repeatable pattern.  Yesterday was an up day.  I will likely not provide a report over the weekend unless something unexpected appears.  I do expect the weekend numbers to fall, followed by a rebound next week.
